Oh how joyful this one was - a little holiday trilogy in stop motion fashion for MA/RÉ, kicking off with an animated invitation to their pop-up, building anticipation with a teaser for the event itself, and closing with a third capsule launching their new campaign in a playful collage style. MA/RÉ is a Paris shirtmaker led by the twin sisters Margaux and Lola Rebois, striving to blend French elegance with Japanese minimalism. Getting to play inside that universe of italian popeline, seamstress craft, and elegant detail was such a delight - paper, patterns, textures, and the slow magic of moving things stop motion style.
