I led post-production on six 2-minute paper stop-motion films for Disney’s YouTube channel, made with the brilliant team at Mighty Oak.
Every environment and character was designed to match the Disney classics, every piece of paper was meticulously cut, and every movement was animated by hand, frame by frame. My job was to rebuild each world in After Effects, bringing the flat paper to life with parallax, depth of field, and motion design. Every tree, cloud, and shadow was put together in post - by yours truly. No AI was used in the making of this project, and boy that feels GOOD.
Working alongside so many childhood heroes was a dream come true (Mushu is responsible for my sense of humor), and I’m proud to have been part of a production that brings handmade wonder back to children’s content.
